A collaboration with Julinka Ebhardt, a fellow student at the Royal College of Art, to produce a book documenting different tree species.
During the Woodland Workshop summer camp in the Somerset countryside, Julinka and I realised that we didn't know the names of many of the trees surrounding us. So we decided to do something about this regrettable situation.
We began to collect, photograph and document as many different tree specimens as we could find. The result is a small book of 22 specimens listing their common and latin names, as well as their classifications (from kingdom to family).
The Tree Specimens Book is a document of a summer spent in a specific woodland in the English countryside, and we aim to collect more samples from other areas and publish further revisions in the future.
